Concept Creation & Artistic Direction

The Art of Design 

At this level, the focus is on the pure art of design. I develop the entire concept and aesthetic narrative of the event — from the central idea to the visual and sensorial realization of the wedding. Every detail is conceived as part of a story: décor, lighting, entertainment, scenography, experiences, and atmosphere.
The process culminates in the delivery of a complete Creative Deck, including hand-drawn sketches, rendered visualizations, and detailed technical descriptions that guide production and installation.
This is the ideal level for those seeking an exclusive artistic vision, with execution carried out by their own production team.

In this format, the design and conceptualization remain entirely mine — maintaining the Rui Mota Pinto creative signature — while the planning, management, and coordination process are handled by one of my Assistant Wedding Planners, under my artistic supervision.
This way, the client benefits from my full creative vision and aesthetic direction, supported by a dedicated planning team that ensures a smooth, personalized execution aligned with the original concept.

“Words alone will never be enough to truly describe how thankful I am for Rui. Our original wedding planner quit on us with just 6 weeks left until our wedding simply stating that she no longer felt that she could deliver the wedding we were envisoning. I was horrified and devastated. We had hundreds of guests traveling to Portugal for our wedding, and we were under so much pressure to figure it out. I scrambled to find another wedding planner on short notice, and serendipitously, I saw a post by Rui on my Instagram discovery page. Even more fatefully, it was also a destination wedding for another Middle Eastern couple. I knew it was late in the season, and most planners would not be available, but I sent Rui a VERY desperate Instagram DM explaining the situation, and he called me back within hours. We immediately got on a Zoom call, and he told me very honestly that it would be difficult, but not impossible, to pull this off. I immediately put all of my trust into Rui, and I am so glad I did. He and his team 100% saved our special day. We essentially had to plan the wedding from scratch, and honestly, it turned out even better than what we originally had planned. From the food, to the venue, to the entertainment, to the team on the ground, no one compares to Rui. His level of care and concern for us and our big day was second to none. I would recommend him 100 times over if I could. Thank you FOR EVERYTHING Rui!!

“To say that the realization of our marriage was a challenge is an understatement. We married in August 2020, in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, and to make our situation even more difficult, my current husband is a non-European foreigner (and, unfortunately, marrying a foreigner in Portugal is quite simply a bureaucratic hell in which nobody knows how to proceed or what to do). So, I say with all my confidence, if it weren't for WP Rui Mota Pinto, we would never have been married this year. Basically, our wedding date was always unknown (although we already had the bases previously decided), and with only 2 weeks in advance we managed to prepare our wedding party. More: it was not just any party. It was exactly the wedding I had always imagined and dreamed of since I was a little girl, I couldn't have wanted anything more! Rui is always available and ready to help, recommends different types of suppliers depending on the style, but also the price we are willing to spend, and takes the weight off the extra concerns that we would have without him present.
